Admissions
"Choosing a secondary school is perhaps the most important educational decision a family has to make. I am confident that at Charles Darwin School we provide an excellent educational experience for all pupils. Last year we were heavily oversubscribed and the demand for places this year promises to be even higher.
My philosophy for education is based on a blend of proven traditional educational values together with the best from our more recent and improved understanding of how students access learning and are motivated to do so. School years are some of the most important years of our life and it is important to me that our students achieve their potential, have the skills and values to thrive in society and enjoy their education, creating positive memories that stay with them forever." Mr Smith, Headteacher.
Charles Darwin School is a popular comprehensive school set in a semi- rural environment that attracts a large number of pupils often exceeding the available allocation.
All applications are made through the London Borough of Bromley and further information can be obtained on their website www.bromley.gov.uk/apply. Applications for year 7 must be made using the appropriate Common Application Form.
