Charles Darwin School

School Library

At Charles Darwin, our library is a welcoming and safe space where all students are encouraged to read, research, and study.  Alongside a wide selection of resources, we now have a cosy reading corner designed for quiet enjoyment.

The library offers a diverse collection, including fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, magazines, manga, and reference materials. Students are encouraged to speak with the librarian for recommendations or to make requests, and can also explore the reading lists provided by teaching staff.

In addition, the library provides access to computers for independent study during lunchtimes and at Homework Club, which runs after school from 3–4pm.

Throughout the year, we celebrate key events such as World Book Day and Remembrance Day, with a variety of themed displays and activities for students to enjoy.
